Two Florida teenagers are facing adult charges after prosecutors say they plotted a gruesome “blood ritual” murder of a classmate in a twisted attempt to resurrect the gunman behind one of the deadliest school shootings in American history.
Isabelle Valdez, 15, and Lois Lippert, 14, have been charged as adults with attempted murder after authorities uncovered what investigators described as a disturbing plan to lure a fellow student into a school bathroom and kill him.
According to prosecutors in Seminole County, the teens believed murdering the boy would bring back Adam Lanza, the gunman responsible for the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre that left 26 people dead.
Court documents say the girls had been discussing the ritual killing for months.
Investigators allege Valdez became fixated on the classmate because she believed he resembled Lanza.
“[The classmate] reminded her of Lanza a lot,” a police affidavit states.
Valdez allegedly told investigators that she believed the student was the “perfect embodiment” of the Sandy Hook shooter.
Prosecutors say the plan involved taking the boy into a bathroom at their Seminole County high school and murdering him there.
According to a motion for pretrial detention, the teens intended to stab the victim or slit his throat.
Authorities say they gathered supplies to carry out the killing.
On the day the attack was allegedly supposed to happen, Valdez met Lippert in a school restroom carrying a bag that contained a knife, Clorox wipes and a towel prosecutors say was intended to muffle the victim’s screams.
But the alleged plan collapsed when another student learned about it and alerted authorities.
Police quickly intervened before anyone was harmed.
The girls were arrested and placed in the back of a patrol car together — where investigators say their reaction raised further alarm.
Body camera footage obtained by WKMG shows the teens laughing, joking and celebrating the fact that they were being transported together.
“Yay!” the girls can be heard shouting when told they would be riding in the same vehicle.
“I did not expect … them to let us, like, go in the same car,” Lippert allegedly says while laughing.
“So much better than just having to stare off in the distance and think of all your regrets,” she adds.
At one point, Valdez allegedly joked about preparing for her arrest photo.
“Dude, I was going to do my makeup this morning for the mugshot,” she says on camera.
Lippert can also allegedly be heard asking, “Think I’ll be able to fix my hair?”
The two teens continued bantering about past encounters with police and personal belongings they hoped to bring to jail, including stuffed My Little Pony toys.
“I would be so jolly, going to jail,” Valdez allegedly said during the conversation.
According to prosecutors, the girls also complained about the fellow student who alerted authorities to the alleged plan.
“They expressed disappointment that someone ‘snitched’ on them,” the detention motion states.

Investigators also recovered digital messages allegedly exchanged between the teens discussing the ritual.
In one message cited by prosecutors, Valdez allegedly wrote, “Holy s— im gonna make a blood ritual for adam lanza LMAOOOO.”
In another message, she reportedly added, “I hugged my parents extra tight today i feel kind bad for whats coming.”
A Seminole County judge ordered both teens held without bond after their arrests.
They are scheduled to return to court on April 29 as the disturbing case moves forward.
Prosecutors argue the evidence shows a deliberate and calculated plan that could have ended in a brutal killing if authorities had not been alerted in time.
