The breakup didn’t end when the relationship did — at least not for one star of Bravo’s Southern Hospitality.
Grace Lilly, a 27-year-old reality television personality, was arrested in North Carolina after allegedly harassing her ex-boyfriend for more than two years in an escalating dispute centered on one thing: a cat.
According to police records, the former couple purchased the cat together in late 2022 and shared ownership throughout their relationship. When they split, the fight over the animal turned legal. The ex-boyfriend ultimately filed a Claim and Delivery lawsuit to establish ownership — and won.
But authorities say the court ruling didn’t stop Lilly.

A cat is pictured Nov. 18, 2025, at PAWS Humane Society in Rockford.
The Charleston Police Department was first contacted in October after the ex-boyfriend reported that Lilly had taken the cat without permission. After the pet was returned to him, police say Lilly continued to contact him repeatedly, attempted to enter his apartment, and made further efforts to take the cat.
The man also told investigators that Lilly interfered with his new relationships after the breakup, describing a pattern of behavior that left him “paranoid of her popping up in his life.”
To back up his claims, he provided police with photographs, videos, screenshots, and phone records. Footage allegedly shows Lilly attempting to enter his apartment twice in October 2023. Investigators later obtained her phone records, which reportedly revealed that she had called him 211 times since July 2023.
On Nov. 4, a judge granted the man a restraining order against Lilly. An arrest warrant followed. She was taken into custody this past Sunday.
Jail records also show Lilly had prior run-ins with law enforcement. In June 2016, she was arrested and charged with two counts of manufacturing and distributing crack cocaine and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Those charges were dismissed in August 2017.

Lilly rose to prominence as a cast member on Southern Hospitality, which follows the lives and drama of staff working at Charleston nightlife venues owned by restaurateur Leva Bonaparte. The show is a spin-off of Bravo’s Southern Charm, and Lilly has appeared as a main cast member throughout Southern Hospitality’s run.
In January, Lilly announced she was leaving the show to pursue what she described as “bigger things.” In interviews promoted by Bravo, she said she had turned to spirituality and the universe to help her “dive deeper” into her emotions.
She also spoke openly about her admiration for Bob Marley, saying she felt a spiritual connection to the late singer.
“I told him, I was like, ‘I love you Bob! I’m always going to spread your message,’” Lilly said.
Now, instead of reality TV confessionals, Lilly’s story is unfolding in police reports and court documents — a cautionary tale of a breakup that spiraled into obsession, surveillance footage, restraining orders, and one very unlucky cat caught in the middle.
