A disturbing case out of Pennsylvania is raising serious questions about warning signs on social media after a teenage girl was accused of killing her boyfriend—just hours after allegedly posting threatening videos online.

Authorities say 17-year-old Dalaysia Terrell-Brown is facing a murder charge following the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend, 18-year-old Tamar Shaw, in Harrisburg. According to details reported by local outlets, investigators believe the deadly incident may have been foreshadowed by videos shared on Instagram.

Police were called to a home on Market Street late Monday night after Terrell-Brown herself contacted emergency services. During the call, she reportedly said a man was “losing blood” and requested an ambulance—but asked that police not be sent.

When officers arrived, they found Shaw seriously injured, sitting down while Terrell-Brown held a blood-soaked towel to his chest. He was rushed to a hospital but later died from the wound.

Terrell-Brown initially told investigators that the stabbing was an accident.

According to court documents, she claimed the couple had been in bed when Shaw asked for a knife to cut paper. She said the blade may have been tangled in blankets, and when she moved them, Shaw suddenly “yelled out in pain.”Moments later, she said, blood began pouring from his chest.

However, investigators soon uncovered evidence that raised doubts about that version of events.

Crime Stoppers tip led police to social media posts allegedly made by Terrell-Brown the night before the stabbing. In those videos, she is said to be holding a knife and making threatening gestures, appearing to thrust it toward someone off-camera.

The captions added to the concern.

One video reportedly included the phrase “let this be a warning”, while another contained a more alarming message referencing cutting, accompanied by laughing emojis.

Authorities believe these posts may indicate intent or premeditation, contradicting the claim that the incident was accidental.

An autopsy later confirmed that Shaw’s death was a homicide, with the medical examiner noting the stab wound required significant force to penetrate the chest cavity.

Investigators also confirmed the couple had argued earlier that day, though Terrell-Brown reportedly said they were no longer fighting at the time of the incident.

She has since been arrested and is being held without bail, facing additional charges related to possession of a weapon and other offenses.

The case has left many shaken, particularly because of the apparent connection between online threats and real-world violence.

As the investigation continues, authorities are working to piece together the full timeline of events—and determine whether the warning signs were missed before tragedy struck.

For now, the case serves as a sobering reminder of how quickly conflict can escalate—and how social media posts may reveal more than they seem.
