A livestreamed fight between influencers has led to criminal charges in Florida, with authorities alleging the altercation may have been staged to generate online attention.
Violet Lentz, 24, turned herself in Sunday at the Osceola County Jail, where she was charged with battery. She was released early Monday morning after posting $1,000 bail.
Her arrest follows an earlier case involving her boyfriend, Braden Peters, a 20-year-old social media figure known online as “Clavicular.” Peters was arrested Thursday in connection with the same February incident at an Airbnb in the Orlando area.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Peters is accused of instigating the confrontation between Lentz and a 19-year-old woman and then filming it. Investigators allege the incident was part of an effort to increase viewership by exploiting the participants for online content.
Video from the scene shows the two women arguing in a room with several others present, including Peters. The argument escalated into a physical fight while someone continued recording. Authorities say Peters initially appeared to intervene before stepping back as the situation became violent.
Peters has been charged with battery and criminal conspiracy to commit battery. He was released after spending a night in the Broward County Jail.
The case has drawn attention in part because of Peters’ presence in the so-called “looksmaxxing” online community, a niche internet subculture focused on extreme methods of improving physical appearance. Peters has previously promoted controversial practices, including drug use like meth and heavy supplement regimens, to alter physique and maintain a certain image. He’s also the influencer who claims to take part in “bonesmashing,” a practice where one hits themselves with a hammer in order to break their bones to make them grow back stronger. The science is out on this practice, but we don’t suggest trying this out for yourself.

In addition to the charges related to the fight, Peters is also facing a separate allegation involving an incident in which he allegedly fired a gun at an alligator during an airboat ride in a Florida swamp earlier the same day.
Authorities have not indicated whether additional charges are expected in connection with the livestreamed fight. The investigation remains ongoing.
