A new episode of Candace Owens’ podcast is stirring controversy after the she questioned whether Erika Kirk, the widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, may have moved through circles that overlapped with Jeffrey Epstein’s world.
In the episode, Owens reacts to President Donald Trump’s appointment of Erika Kirk to the U.S. Air Force Academy’s Board of Visitors, a small advisory panel that makes recommendations on academy matters including morale, finances and academics. Owens argues that the appointment is surprising given Erika Kirk’s background and suggests it reflects how quickly she has risen into prominent roles following her husband’s death.
But the heart of Owens’ commentary goes beyond the appointment itself. Throughout the episode, she lays out a series of questions and suspicions about what she views as repeated intersections between Erika Kirk’s past activities and people, institutions, or industries that have also been linked to Epstein.

Erika Kirk, widow of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, speaks during AmericaFest at the Phoenix Convention Center on Dec. 18, 2025.
Owens points to several areas she believes deserve scrutiny, including the pageant world, modeling agencies, Arizona State University, Romania, and New York real estate. She claims these overlapping connections are becoming harder to dismiss as coincidence, especially given Epstein’s documented ties to models, pageants, elite social networks and certain business circles.
One major focus of the episode is Owens’ claim that she reached out to Turning Point USA’s public relations and legal teams with direct questions about Erika Kirk’s alleged involvement with Next Model Management, a modeling agency Owens says has had connections to people in Epstein’s orbit. Owens says she did not receive a response within 48 hours and presents that silence as suspicious.
She also revisits earlier questions about Erika Kirk’s professional path, suggesting that her résumé and rapid rise into influential spaces raise broader concerns. Owens frames that pattern as part of a larger story she says still has many unanswered questions.
The episode also branches into wider themes common in Owens’ recent commentary, including elite networks, secrecy, political power, and distrust of official narratives. She speculates about hidden relationships among political insiders and revisits earlier claims she has made about Charlie Kirk’s final days, as well as meetings involving Turning Point figures in Washington.
Importantly, the podcast episode is built around Owens’ personal suspicions and interpretations, not confirmed findings. In the transcript, she repeatedly describes her theory as a “hunch” and says she is asking questions rather than presenting proof.
That distinction may matter as the segment gains attention online. Still, by linking Erika Kirk’s name to Epstein-adjacent institutions and asking why those connections keep appearing, Owens has added another provocative chapter to the intense scrutiny already surrounding figures close to Trump-world and conservative politics.
As discussed in the Candace Owens podcast episode, the central message is less a definitive allegation than a challenge: Owens wants answers, and she says the public should want them too.
