New details are emerging about the woman accused of firing shots at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home, with court documents revealing that she had previously targeted another major pop star — Billie Eilish — weeks before the alleged attack.

Authorities say Ivanna Ortiz, 35, is facing an attempted murder charge after the shooting incident outside Rihanna’s residence. Investigators believe Ortiz fired multiple shots at the property, leaving bullet holes in the exterior walls. Following the incident, Rihanna and her family reportedly left the home for safety reasons, according to reporting from the New York Post.

Court records now show that Ortiz had earlier taken legal action against Billie Eilish related to one of the singer’s concerts. In October 2025, Ortiz filed a lawsuit seeking to stop Eilish’s performance in Orlando, Florida, claiming the concert would cause her “immediate and irreparable harm.”

According to documents described in the report, Ortiz argued that noise levels and increased traffic from the event would negatively impact her. The lawsuit also named Live Nation, the major concert promoter behind the event.

Ortiz requested a court order that would prevent the concert from taking place and sought damages estimated between $75,000 and $100,000. However, a judge dismissed the petition, ruling that the emergency request had been filed prematurely. The concert ultimately went ahead as planned without interruption.

Since Ortiz’s arrest in connection with the shooting near Rihanna’s home, investigators have also been reviewing her social media activity, which reportedly contained a series of disturbing posts directed at the singer.

In several online videos and posts, Ortiz allegedly made hostile remarks about Rihanna, claiming the pop star was jealous of her and making other unfounded accusations. Some posts also directly tagged Rihanna’s social media accounts while making aggressive statements.

Authorities say there is no evidence supporting the claims made in those posts.

The disturbing pattern of online comments has raised questions about whether Ortiz had developed a fixation on high-profile celebrities prior to the shooting.

Meanwhile, Ortiz’s arrest has shocked people who knew her personally. According to the New York Post report, even her former partner expressed surprise when confronted with the allegations.

Ortiz is currently being held on bail set at more than $10 million as the case moves through the legal system.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue reviewing evidence surrounding the shooting and Ortiz’s past behavior. For now, the case has drawn national attention — not only because of the high-profile celebrity involved, but also due to the unusual trail of legal disputes and social media posts that preceded the alleged attack.
