A Miami adult content creator is facing criminal charges after police say a dispute over sex inside a Miami apartment turned violent and left a man with injuries and a damaged home.
La’Rose Sainte, 30, was arrested following the Feb. 19 incident in Miami-Dade County, according to arrest records.
Police say the confrontation began when the victim invited Sainte to his apartment after the two had met several weeks earlier.
According to investigators, the man told officers he had first met Sainte about three weeks before the incident. On the night of Feb. 19, he invited Sainte to his apartment.
Authorities say the situation escalated after the victim declined to have sex with Sainte.
The man allegedly told police that he refused because Sainte was not Jewish, which triggered a heated confrontation inside the apartment.
Investigators say Sainte became enraged and demanded the victim’s car keys and money.
When the man attempted to retreat to the bathroom to avoid the situation, police say Sainte allegedly attacked him — pushing him to the ground and repeatedly punching him in the face.
The victim managed to escape the apartment, but according to police, he returned after hearing sounds of destruction inside the residence.
Authorities say Sainte allegedly damaged several items inside the apartment, including a mirror, a refrigerator door handle and two pairs of sunglasses worth about $300.
Police say the situation escalated further when Sainte allegedly grabbed a piece of broken glass from the shattered mirror and attempted to stab the victim.
The man reportedly raised his arms to protect himself and suffered minor cuts to his left hand. Investigators say he also had visible facial injuries from being struck during the altercation.
According to the arrest affidavit, Sainte fled the apartment after the confrontation.
Police later located and stopped Sainte’s vehicle.
Officers say they recovered the victim’s home keys, car keys and lock keys during the stop.
Sainte was arrested and charged with battery and theft.
Authorities say Sainte is also known as Jacob Todd Pabellon, according to court documents.
Following the arrest, Sainte was released from jail on their own recognizance by Judge Marisa Tinkler-Mendez.
Court records show Sainte is scheduled to appear for arraignment on April 20 in Miami-Dade County.
Sainte has publicly denied the allegations.
In a post on X, Sainte wrote that the version of events circulating online was false and indicated they intend to share their side of the story.
“If yall really believe that story that’s going around is the truth I hate that for everyone,” Sainte wrote. “I’m definitely gonna have to tell my side of the story because this is absolutely insane and the way I was lied on is beyond horrible.”
Authorities say the case remains pending as it moves through the court system.
