Bhad Bhabie is once again speaking candidly about her health — and this time, the update isn’t what fans were hoping to hear.
The 22-year-old rapper, born Danielle Bregoli, revealed on Feb. 28 that she received difficult news from her doctor as she continues her fight against cancer. Posting to X, the “Gucci Flip Flops” artist wrote that she had gotten “bad news” at a recent appointment, adding a message of faith: “God has the last say so not my cancer.”
While she did not share specific medical details, the brief statement immediately sparked concern among supporters who have followed her health journey over the past year.

From Viral Fame to Personal Fight
Bhad Bhabie first rose to fame in 2016 after a now-infamous appearance on Dr. Phil, which launched her into internet stardom and eventually a music career. Nearly a decade later, her life looks very different.
In November 2024, she publicly disclosed her cancer diagnosis after online critics began speculating about her weight loss. Addressing the commentary at the time, she explained that her treatment had caused noticeable changes in her body.
“I’m sorry my cancer medicine made me lose weight,” she wrote on Instagram Stories back then, adding that she was gradually regaining it and urging people to stop assuming the worst.
Her Mom Speaks Out
Following Danielle’s latest health update, her mother, Barbara Bregoli, forcefully defended her daughter against harsh online reactions.
In a March 1 Instagram video, Barbara criticized social media users who suggested the diagnosis was “karma.” She called those remarks cruel and unacceptable, emphasizing that no one chooses to face a life-threatening illness.
She also addressed critics who previously accused Danielle of exaggerating or faking her condition. In earlier posts, Barbara shared her own experience with cancer and passionately shut down speculation about her daughter’s health.
“Don’t come after my kid,” she said in her latest video, warning trolls about making reckless comments about situations they don’t understand.
Balancing Motherhood and Treatment
Amid her health battle, Danielle is also a mother. She shares a 23-month-old daughter, Kali Love, with her ex, Le Vaughn. Though she has kept much of her treatment journey private, her recent posts suggest that the road has not been easy.
Despite the troubling update, her message carried a note of resilience. By saying her illness does not have the “last say,” she signaled determination to continue fighting.
For now, fans are left waiting for further details — and hoping for better news ahead.
As Bhad Bhabie navigates fame, motherhood, and a serious health diagnosis, one thing is clear: she’s choosing to face it publicly, on her own terms, even as criticism and speculation continue to swirl online.
