Kylie Kelce is never shy about sharing her opinions — and this time, it’s about her mother-in-law’s reality TV fate.

On a recent podcast appearance, Kylie revealed she was unexpectedly “irked” by the way Donna Kelce was cast on season four of The Traitors. The Peacock hit wrapped its dramatic finale on Feb. 26, but Kylie admitted she’s still bothered by one key detail: Donna was chosen as a Secret Traitor.

For those unfamiliar, the Secret Traitor twist places a contestant in a high-stakes role without the built-in alliance that standard Traitors enjoy. While other Traitors get to collaborate in the turret and strategize together, the Secret Traitor operates largely alone — and that, according to Kylie, made all the difference.

“I’m annoyed that she was a Secret Traitor,” Kylie said, explaining that she believes Donna would have thrived with teammates to help her lean into the deception. In her view, the twist set Donna up at a disadvantage from the start.

Kylie argued that Donna’s naturally warm and approachable personality could have worked in her favor if she’d been part of the main Traitor group alongside castmates like Rob Rausch, Candiace Dillard Bassett and Lisa Rinna. Instead, Donna was eliminated in episode three, cutting short what Kylie clearly hoped would be a longer run.

“She needed teammates,” Kylie said bluntly, suggesting that the solo aspect of the Secret Traitor role made survival much tougher in the game’s early rounds.

Still, there’s no bad blood within the Kelce clan. Donna, 73, had long wanted to compete on The Traitors, which films in Scotland and features celebrities navigating alliances, betrayals and dramatic banishments. Even though her stint was brief, her sons Jason and Travis Kelce were fully supportive.

During the reunion episode, Donna shared that her boys thought she gave it her all — and may have even been more devious than they expected. That playful family dynamic only added to the fun for fans who have followed the Kelces from NFL sidelines to podcast studios and now reality TV castles.

And yes, even Travis Kelce’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, was reportedly tuning in. Donna noted that Swift and her family are fans of the show, adding another pop culture layer to the Kelce universe.

While Kylie may feel Donna didn’t get a fair shake in the game’s structure, there’s no denying the moment added yet another chapter to the family’s growing entertainment résumé.
