Jade Cargill isn’t thinking about a single title defense. She’s thinking about a Hall of Fame career.

The reigning WWE Women’s Champion made it clear in a recent interview that her ambitions stretch far beyond her current championship run. At just five years into her wrestling journey, Cargill says she’s already checking off goals — and she believes she’s firmly on a path that could one day land her in the WWE Hall of Fame.

“One thing I’ve always said … I want to be in the Hall of Fame,” Cargill said, expressing confidence that she’s building the kind of résumé that could make that dream a reality.

At 33, Cargill has quickly evolved into one of WWE’s most dominant presences. With a commanding look, undeniable athleticism and growing in-ring confidence, she has become a centerpiece of the women’s division. Now in her third WrestleMania season and holding her first major singles championship in WWE, Cargill says she’s still learning — but she’s also thriving.

She recalls advice from Daniel Bryan, who once told her it took seven years before he truly felt comfortable in wrestling. Cargill hasn’t hit that mark yet — but she’s already at the top of the mountain.

Her rise didn’t happen overnight. After making waves earlier in her career, Cargill spent her first year in WWE adjusting to the spotlight and working alongside established stars like Bianca Belair and Naomi. By 2025, however, she broke out as a singles competitor in a major way.

A heated storyline with Naomi — someone Cargill says she admired long before joining WWE — became a defining chapter in her evolution. The two built a deeply personal rivalry that culminated in high-profile matches, including a WrestleMania showdown and a standout performance at WWE Evolution.

Cargill credits that program with sharpening her instincts and helping her fully embrace her dominant persona.

“We can apologize later — let’s go out there and put on a great show,” she said of their mindset during the feud, praising Naomi as one of her best in-ring partners.

That momentum carried Cargill to winning the Queen of the Ring tournament and ultimately capturing the WWE Women’s Championship in November. But for Cargill, holding gold isn’t just about personal validation.

“You can’t do this by yourself,” she said, emphasizing the importance of elevating her opponents. She pointed to her recent title defense against Jordynne Grace as proof that competition at the highest level benefits everyone involved.

Looking ahead to WrestleMania season, potential challengers are lining up. With Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan choosing another path, the door is open for a new contender to emerge from Elimination Chamber.

Cargill, however, isn’t worried.

“It doesn’t matter who steps up,” she said confidently. “They’re going to get stepped on.”

If her trajectory continues, Cargill’s bold prediction about the Hall of Fame may not sound so bold after all.
