Rasheeda Liberty, founder and CEO of Lady Lib Sports & Entertainment, is positioning her agency for major growth as she helps guide the next wave of football talent into the NFL.
Appearing on The Close with hosts Katie Greifeld and Romaine Bostick, Liberty discussed why Texas continues to be one of the most important regions in the country for scouting future professional athletes. With its deep football culture, elite high school programs, and pipeline into major college teams, Liberty suggested the state remains a prime place to identify prospects long before they reach the draft stage.
During the conversation, Liberty also reflected on how quickly her sports agency has expanded. What began as a small operation has grown into a much larger team, signaling increasing momentum in a highly competitive industry. She noted that Lady Lib Sports & Entertainment has already scaled from a two-person agency into a staff of 17, demonstrating both demand for her company’s services and the agency’s ability to attract new professionals into its ranks.

Looking ahead, Liberty said her long-term vision is to continue building the agency into a larger powerhouse with more agents and recognizable names joining the organization. Her goal is not only to grow the company’s size but also its influence, aiming for Lady Lib to become a more widely known force in the world of sports representation.
But Liberty made clear that her ambitions extend beyond signing athletes and negotiating contracts. She emphasized the importance of supporting players after their time in the league ends — a period that can often be overlooked in professional sports. Liberty pointed out that NFL careers are typically short, and many athletes need guidance in preparing for what comes next once the spotlight fades.

As part of her agency’s future direction, Liberty hopes to expand into post-career planning for athletes, including investment strategies, business opportunities, and philanthropy. She expressed interest in helping players build meaningful second chapters through charitable work and long-term financial stability.
Ultimately, Liberty framed her mission as something bigger than sports representation alone. Her approach focuses on building lasting legacies for athletes — both during their playing years and long after retirement. With the agency continuing to grow and Texas serving as a key scouting ground, Liberty appears determined to expand Lady Lib Sports & Entertainment into a major name in the industry, while also redefining what athlete support can look like beyond the field.
