Candace Owens used her latest podcast episode as a public “open letter” to Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk, framing it as a challenge to what she called the organization’s shifting story about the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s killing and the direction of TPUSA since then.
Owens began by referencing Kirk’s recent Fox News appearance, where Kirk called for transparency in ongoing court proceedings related to her husband’s death. Owens said she agreed with the idea of transparency in principle, but argued Kirk could provide more clarity without waiting for court action—especially since, Owens claimed, TPUSA had early access to security footage and other information. She said her own request to view materials was denied and accused TPUSA leadership of being evasive and inconsistent.
From there, Owens delivered an extended, personal narrative about her relationship with Charlie Kirk and the circumstances around her departure from TPUSA in 2019. She disputed public explanations that her exit involved other controversies, instead alleging it stemmed from a breach of trust tied to fundraising and internal influence. She claimed Kirk lied to her about a meeting and said she warned him about specific individuals and security decisions she viewed as alarming.

Owens then escalated into broader allegations, suggesting TPUSA leadership—particularly Erika Kirk—authorized a coordinated campaign to discredit Owens and rewrite history about her connection to Charlie. She claimed the organization pushed narratives portraying her as estranged from him and implied this was done to control messaging after his death. Owens also alleged Kirk had possession of Charlie’s phone and would therefore be aware of messages Owens described as predictive or foreboding.
A major thrust of the episode centered on Owens’ assertion that she had “proof” of a high-dollar fundraising deal involving a French individual she identified as “Pierre,” alleging the figure was known to TPUSA executives and that the arrangement proceeded after Charlie’s death. Owens repeatedly characterized this as a potential motive and hinted at international influence, invoking a wide-ranging theory that included foreign governments and prominent political figures. These claims were presented as her suspicions and inferences, though she insisted she had documentation to support parts of them.

The episode also featured a clip from Aubrey Lech, a former Turning Point public relations manager, who described being terminated after what she said was an unusual “loyalty test” involving an Uber-driver anecdote. Lech claimed she believed her firing was linked to questioning internal narratives about the assassination. Owens seized on Lech’s account as evidence of a culture of fear and retaliation, criticizing TPUSA for dismissing staff after months of intense work and grief. She promoted a GoFundMe fundraiser for affected former employees and mocked the idea that a well-funded organization would leave ex-staff to seek public help.
Owens closed by promising more revelations, urging viewers to share tips, and portraying the situation as a high-stakes battle over truth, power, and who controls the story of Turning Point USA after Charlie Kirk.
