“Let me set the record straight,” Frankel quipped, stroking her dog in the video, “There’s no such thing as ‘facial chlamydia’—I had to call in a doctor to de-bunk that wild rumor going around on the internet. But yes, I did get a serious bacterial infection, and it all traces back to hotel towels.”
Frankel’s hotel horror story gets even more alarming: her own daughter once battled a similar infection, and was the first to spot her mom’s telltale rash. “Towels, sheets, you name it—they’re bacteria traps,” she said, shuddering. “Even in those high-end hotels, do you really think your towel is whisked away by magic the second you toss it in the bin?
