Alina Habba, top DOJ adviser, didn’t hold back on Fox News Monday, slamming Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey for his viral dance with the Somali flag—a move she claims could stir up hostility against ICE officers.
Speaking to Brian Kilmeade, Habba made it clear that both Attorney General Pam Bondi and her office are gearing up for a major crackdown. “Anyone caught threatening law enforcement, ICE agents, or even interfering in places of worship? This administration will not tolerate it,” Habba declared with force, echoing Bondi’s pledge to investigate both Frey and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

Habba fired off, “We have a mayor out here, basically cheerleading for Somalia instead of standing by the Stars and Stripes. He’s out on stage waving their flag—how am I supposed to believe that’s not fueling more animosity?” She didn’t mince words, warning that the DOJ’s civil rights division is launching a full-scale probe.

But Habba didn’t stop there. She threw a spotlight on the money trail, hinting the feds are ready to pursue RICO-style actions against anyone bankrolling unruly demonstrations. “The First Amendment protects lawful protest, but not when chaos reigns or churchgoers are blocked,” Habba warned. “If you cross the line, the Justice Department will be coming for you.” The message was loud and clear: This DOJ won’t back down from taking on high-profile officials or protest organizers if public safety and civil order are on the line.
