Fiery lawmaker Marjorie Taylor Greene has cranked up the volume on calls for a nationwide tax rebellion in 2026—while taking aim at none other than Donald Trump, claiming he’s abandoned the America First cause that fueled his presidency.
Fed-up Trump loyalists are exploding all over X (formerly Twitter), and Greene isn’t holding back. On Wednesday, the controversial Georgia Republican vented her outrage on social media, amplifying messages from grassroots conservatives pledging to halt their tax payments. Greene let loose: “Pretty much every MAGA supporter I scroll past on here is done—they want a 2026 tax strike. And honestly? They have every reason to!”

Her reason for fanning the flames? In an expletive-laden post, Greene blasted the government for siphoning off “hard-earned” American money for overseas interests and foreign conflicts. “People in this country are exhausted—working tirelessly, barely scraping by—while Washington blows taxpayer dollars on wars abroad, foreign handouts, and migrants pouring into the country. Americans get nothing back!” she thundered.
No stranger to bomb-throwing rhetoric, Greene splashed her profile this week with reshares of angry MAGA influencers railing against the tax system. She reposted users citing everything from the jaw-dropping $1 billion fraud scandal in Minnesota, to endless international entanglements draining the national purse.
One viral clip she amplified featured commentator Andy Frisella unleashing a profanity-filled assault on the system. “We’re being replaced—our blood, sweat, and tears turned into cash the government spends to bring in people who despise us. Meanwhile, crooks are raking in millions running sham daycares, and it’s total lunacy,” Frisella exploded. He pointedly declared, “Donald Trump deserves to catch massive heat for this mess.”

Frisella didn’t stop there, telling his followers that taxation was never supposed to last forever, and pushing the notion that Americans should unite and flat-out refuse to pay federal taxes at all. His anti-tax tirade has set the internet alight, echoing through Greene’s feed.
The congresswoman, recently estranged from Trump after a once-tight alliance, also gave a signal boost to TurningPointUSA’s Savanah Hernandez. Hernandez brazenly proclaimed she won’t pay taxes in the coming year and dared the IRS to chase her, threatening to turn any enforcement into a nationwide spectacle.
Greene’s incendiary social media blitz comes at a time when Trump, who often boasts about his peacemaker credentials, is facing backlash from his own base—wrath now stoked by one of his former fiercest cheerleaders.
