It’s baby news from the West Wing. Karoline Leavitt, the 28-year-old firebrand Press Secretary for the White House, revealed she’s expecting a bundle of joy—a little girl—with her husband, business tycoon Nicholas Riccio, age 60.

The announcement exploded onto Instagram, where Leavitt beamed beside a twinkling Christmas setup and gushed, “We can’t wait for our son to step up as big brother!” The couple’s daughter is due in May 2026, and Leavitt’s joy was unmistakable: ‘Becoming a mother is truly heaven on earth,’ she raved, expressing thanks to God for the blessing and throwing in gratitude towards President Trump and Chief of Staff Susie Wiles for their family-friendly White House vibes.

The Press Secretary shared with Fox News that the West Wing feels more like a daycare these days—most colleagues are juggling babies and toddlers alongside briefing binders. ‘There’s a real support system as we work and raise our families under President Trump, the greatest commander-in-chief ever,’ Leavitt declared. Insiders confirm she’ll be holding onto her top job even as her family grows, according to a senior administration source.

Leavitt and Riccio welcomed their first child, Nicholas ‘Niko’ Robert Riccio, back in July 2024, with Leavitt still in Trump campaign mode. She sensationally zipped back to work four days after giving birth, driven by the stunning assassination attempt on Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. ‘With the president putting his life on the line for the election, I knew I had to get back in action,’ she told The Conservateur.

Their love story began in 2022 on the campaign trail in New Hampshire, when Leavitt was battling for a Congressional seat—which ultimately went to Democrat Chris Pappas. Riccio got down on one knee in December 2023, the couple said ‘I do’ in January 2025, mere moments before Trump stepped into his second presidential term. Now, with another child on the way, Leavitt’s family and career are both charging full steam ahead!
