The murder of Rebecca Park keeps getting darker.
Investigators say the pregnant woman’s own sister has now accused Park’s fiancé, Richard Falor, of confessing to the killing — a stunning claim that surfaced only after the sister herself was arrested and charged with lying to police.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Wexford County, Kimberly Park told detectives that Falor admitted his role in Rebecca’s death during a visit to his home earlier this month.

“Kimberly Park identified that on Tuesday Nov. 4, 2025, while she was at Richard Falor’s home, he told her that he killed Rebecca Park,” Lt. Chris Piskor wrote in the affidavit.
Kimberly made the allegation during a Nov. 25 interview with sheriff’s detectives after she was taken into custody on charges of tampering with evidence, lying to a police officer, and filing a false report. She waived her Miranda rights and, according to investigators, said she had been lying to protect Falor.
Kimberly allegedly told detectives that Falor said “something went wrong while trying to cut the baby out of Rebecca,” a claim that echoes the gruesome theory prosecutors have outlined in the case. She had previously hinted at Falor’s involvement during an earlier, non-custodial interview, telling deputies that Falor had said Rebecca had been “taken care of” and that she should not worry about it.
Investigators say Kimberly also admitted Falor told her to lie because he feared the investigation was closing in on him.
That lie, according to the affidavit, was Kimberly’s earlier claim that her mother, Cortney Bartholomew, and stepfather, Bradly Bartholomew, struck Rebecca in the head, triggering a seizure that led to her death. Kimberly told police that story on Nov. 22, alleging the couple then called a friend to remove Rebecca’s body.
She now claims that story was false — and that Falor instructed her to tell it.

The affidavit further reveals a web of deeply disturbing personal relationships. Kimberly told investigators she was romantically involved with Falor, a claim echoed days later by her mother Cortney, who also admitted to having an affair with him.
Despite the explosive accusation, Falor has not been charged in connection with Rebecca Park’s death. When investigators attempted to question him, Falor requested an attorney and the interview was terminated. Kimberly later did the same.
The man Kimberly identified as Falor’s alleged co-conspirator was questioned and released after producing phone records showing he was out of the county on Nov. 3, the night prosecutors say Rebecca was killed.
Kimberly was the first person arrested after Rebecca’s body was discovered in the Manistee National Forest. She was jailed for a week before a judge reduced her bond from $750,000 to $5,000 and placed her on house arrest.
Falor, meanwhile, was released around the same time after his bail was reduced on unrelated drug charges. Prosecutors declined to say whether he remains a person of interest following Kimberly’s claims.
As Kimberly and Falor were leaving jail, Cortney and Bradly Bartholomew were arriving.

The couple now faces a staggering list of charges: first-degree murder, felony murder, torture, conspiracy to commit torture, assault on a pregnant individual causing miscarriage or stillbirth, and conspiracy to commit that assault. Each charge carries a potential life sentence. They are also charged with unlawful imprisonment and removal of a dead body.
Prosecutors allege that on Nov. 3, the Bartholomews lured Rebecca — Cortney’s biological daughter, who was approximately 38 weeks pregnant — to their Wexford County home. There, authorities say, the couple tortured her in an attempt to remove the unborn child, killing both mother and baby.
Bradly Bartholomew allegedly told investigators the couple could not adopt because he is a registered sex offender.
“This case involves a truly horrific homicide,” Wexford County Prosecutor Johanna Carey said in a statement, describing “unimaginable suffering” and “extraordinary levels of callousness and violence.”
As the case grinds forward, the story has become a maze of confessions, retractions, affairs, and shifting blame — with a dead woman, an unborn child, and a family shattered beyond repair at its center.
And now, hanging over it all, is the sister’s claim that the man who was supposed to protect Rebecca confessed to destroying her.
