Megyn Kelly is strutting into the spotlight, insisting SHE is the mastermind behind the hush-hush meeting of Candace Owens and Erika Kirk—the explosive showdown to address Owens’ jaw-dropping conspiracy riffs on Charlie Kirk’s tragic demise.
The former Fox News firebrand dropped the bombshell on her SiriusXM radio show Tuesday, boasting about her behind-the-scenes wrangling to dial down the drama between Kirk, head honcho at Turning Point USA, and the always-controversial Owens. Both women had already teased their hours-long sit-down, each hyping it up as a ‘very productive’ summit to tackle claims swirling around Kirk’s death.

The summit, reportedly lasting more than four hours, was prompted by Owens’ relentless push to connect Kirk’s killing to a sweeping global plot—including the Israeli government and TPUSA top brass. While Erika Kirk—widow and current TPUSA boss—hoped Owens would cool it with her wild theories, the podcast provocateur wasn’t backing down. Owens even kicked off her Tuesday show with a cheeky dance to “Hava Nagila,” tossing out “Shabbat Shalom” before telling fans she still stands by her suspicions surrounding TPUSA’s founder. She claimed Kirk and the organization’s staff were taken aback by the “intel” she had to share, and brushed off incriminating text messages from murder suspect Tyler Robinson, smearing the evidence as “fake and gay.”

Kelly painted herself as the power broker behind the scene, recounting how Erika Kirk reached out as Owens’ claims spun out of control, desperate for someone to mediate. After talking Kirk off the ledge, Kelly said she rang up Owens, who was ecstatic at the chance to hash things out—with Kelly steering the meeting. “They took it from there,” Kelly said, describing the process of setting up talks that were initially pitched as something the public might witness, but ended up remaining strictly private.
Meanwhile, Owens isn’t letting up. She’s still embroiled in legal battles over other incendiary statements—including accusations against France’s first lady—and now, despite hours of chatting with Kirk, remains unconvinced by any counterclaims. The drama continues to swirl around Charlie Kirk’s untimely death, with Owens persists in pointing fingers at political players and foreign governments, while Kelly savors her role as the woman who stepped in to stop the frenzy—or at least try.
