Bunnie Xo — podcaster, influencer, and wife of country star Jelly Roll — says she’s heading to jail, and she plans to film the entire experience for her audience.

The social media personality, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, revealed the news on her Dumb Blonde podcast, telling listeners she recently learned she has an outstanding issue stemming from a traffic stop in Alabama four years ago.

“You guys, I’m going to jail,” she said. “Should we talk about it? Why would I not tell the internet this? I tell the internet everything anyways.”

DeFord explained that she received a ticket in 2020 while driving home from a family vacation but didn’t remember the incident. She believed the matter was resolved — until she was pulled over again and informed that her license had been suspended. According to DeFord, authorities told her that driving without a valid license could lead to an immediate arrest and that she needed to turn herself in.

“He’s like, ‘But sometime this week you need to go down to the jail and book yourself in,’” she said. “Growing up as a criminal, if you give me that option, I’m never checking myself in.”

Despite hiring an attorney, DeFord said she expects to report to jail soon. And she plans to bring her audience along. “If I do — you guys have seen all my past mugshots — I’m going in glammed up, baby, and I’m going to vlog it.”

DeFord has long been candid about her past struggles, regularly sharing old mugshots and stories of surviving homelessness, addiction, and personal loss. “Looking at the first one, I just couldn’t believe what a baby I was,” she wrote on Instagram. “As the pics go on the eyes only get more sad, more broken & more intoxicated.”

Her upcoming memoir is scheduled for release in February. It will detail her turbulent early life, rise as a podcaster, and her relationship with Jelly Roll.
